      • With a partner, create a piece of the pie graphic organizer to complete the following tasks:
        1. Direct Characterization: 2 examples/quotes with page #'s (p. 2)
        2. Indirect Characterization: 2 examples/quotes with page #'s (p. 11)
        3. Figurative Language: 1 example of personification with page # (p.2), 1 example of hyperbole with page # (p. 3), 1 example of simile with page #. (p. 2)
        4. Internal Conflict: Explain in your own words George's internal conflict regarding Lennie, then give one example/quote with page # to support your explanation.
        5. Vocabulary: On the back of your graphic organizer, use "morosely" and "scoff" correctly in your own sentence.
